RTT for my Cayenne

I am looking for a RTT for ,my Porsche Cayenne. I have a set of Thule crossbars to mount it on. I am looking at something that is not too large and overpowering larger than the roof. I have an OverCamp (Small) on my M416 trailer. I am looking for something a little more compact.

Anyone know of or have any experience with a smaller RTT for a SUV ? The James Baroud site does not have any dimensions of it's tents. The AutoHome Columbus small tent has some possibilities.

Thanks

I cant help you with this as I know nothing about RTT's, but, I gotta give you props for using a Cayenne for overland purposes.

Are you looking for a hard case RTT? If you are considering a folding RTT, I'd suggest a Tepui Ayer. That has a small footprint but will still comfortably sleep 2 adults. Let me know if this is of interest and I can help you get one at a great price.

Thanks So far the Cayenne has an external full sized spare tire carrier with five gallons of gas , on board fridge, C02 tank. With my V8 conversion I can't decide what to drive now the cayenne or my FJ60.

That looks like it has promise and the price could be right.

Spare tire carrier for the hitch or a full on custom bumper?

Pics needed!

Where do you keep the olives for the martinis?

Sorry I have nothing to contribute to your RTT question.

Maybe consider one of those hammock style tents, it's just as easy to setup, and you won't be on the ground.

I saw this guy a couple of days ago in Norway. I would choose I light hard shell RTT for that type of car. I have a Maggiolina Grand Tour myself but I would not recommend it, I think the "winding-up" mechanism need to be of better quality.
