RTT Rack for a Trailer. Question About Spacing.

So, I built this trailer out of boredom. Then tried to sell it. It didn't sell. I think I built it too much with my Jeep in mind. Anyway, if I'm keeping it, I think I'll put a tent on top and add some other stuff and use it sometimes.

So, I think I would build a rack for a RTT next. But are they a specific to the tent type of thing or kind of universal. With my job it might be a year before I have time to actually use the trailer, but I've got steel on hand to go ahead and build the rack. I would prefer a permanent rack (welded in place) but I'm unsure how far about the two rack structures should be front to back. I would like a little more tongue weight on the trailer so the front rack would be near the front of the trailer. How far back should the rear one be.

Or, is it unreasonable to think I can build a "universal" rack for a tent?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

I would throw side-to-side hoops across it at 16, 18, or 24” with the intent of running unistrut (or tent rails) across it lengthwise and a plan to space that to match whatever the tent needs.

I did similar in my trailer. Looking back, I would have simplified a lot, but I got a tubing high and over-did it!
