Link to specific ones suitable for DC connections please?
They only come in NEMA configurations for 120V and up AFAIK. Not an ideal solution and IMO overkill for what he's after.

Cable glands are probably the default way but ideally you'd have a round shape to seal, which for solar would probably mean a gland for each conductor.

Really not a good idea to use AC plugs for DC currents.

Sure the person installing them knows what's going on, but real potential hazard for others to follow in future.

In many jurisdiction explicitly illegal.
