We now make a heavy duty storage container that may be of interest for your expedition vehicles, and camper trailers.
Safari Can is a new storage container designed to fit in your jerry can holders, or can be strapped onto headboards etc. It has a large removable lid so you can store recovery gear, tools, food, water, drinks, first aid supplies etc in your jerry can holders. You can fit a manual or electric water pump in the lid, or even a fishing rod holder. See more at www.safarican.com.au .

Safari Can the heavy duty storage jerry can with large removable lid more photos

As requested here are more photos of Safari Can in various off road jerry can holders on trailers. They have been tested for over 40,000 in Australia from the water crossings on the way to Cape York via the Telegraph track, to the dust and sand on The Canning stock route, and up and down the Oodnadatta Track and to Darwin etc. More more info and pictures go to www.safarican.com.au .

Safari Can go to www.safarican.com.au to see more photos of them in jerry can holders

Added a couple more photos it seems you can only add a few at a time. Go to www.safarican.com.au , to see more photos of Safari Can being used. As seen in one on the photos you can put in the optional shelf and put washing in while you travel, just rinse at the other end on the day. Or put a manual water pump or electric in the lid and you are not limited by the single position of the tap in a normal jerry can, you can even go to the plumbing store and buy a water tank tap fitting and put it on any flat surface, this is what we have on our Camprite TL8S .

Yeah, after I posted the question, I checked out your site. VERY nice stuff. Thanks for posting the pics. The pick on the motorcycle trailer is exactly what I was looking to see.

Here's the reply I received today about shipping.

"Daniel,

Sorry about the delay as we had to wait for the manufacturer we use to price it direct from them.

This is what they have came up with. For a carton of five Safari Cans.

Express post international to the USA AU$335.00 (5 Safari Cans in one carton)

Estimated delivery time 3-7 days (+ customs) trackable and signature required on delivery.

Hope this helps, and let us know if we can help in any way.

One thing I will offer is if you pay by direct deposit, we will give you 5% discount on the Safari Can price and because of the cost of postage any colour we have in stock at that price.

There would be a three week lead time from the factory to dispatch, depending on production runs.

Thanks Gary."

In US dollars that's roughly $312 for 5, little over 60 bucks each. If people here are interested in ordering it would be cheapest if we did a group order.
