I'm in the process of ordering a Freewheel Clutch Solenoid for my '03 Montero, but am curious about something. I know that the part I need is MR430381, but does Mitsubishi sell this one part under different part #s, specifically MR430381, MB937731, MB620532, & K5T47776? The cheaper knockoff versions of this part all have in their descriptions these alternate #s, claiming the part is used in the Pajero, Triton, L200, and L300. Is it really just the same part, but given a different part # when stuck on a different model truck?
The main reason I'm asking is the price difference between the MR430381 and the MB937731 is $117.60 to $54.48 respectively (genuine Mitsubishi parts): http://www.mitsubishipartssource.com/p/SOLENOID-VALVE/54017534/MR430381.html ... http://www.mitsubishipartssource.com/p/VALVE-FREEWHL-CL-CONT-S/53344139/MB937731.html That's a nice little bit of savings, not just for me, but seeing how this particular case of the orange blinking light (codes 34 & 35) is a common problem it could be a nice discount for all of us.
Anybody know?
