Deja Vu. Just did nearly that same route...

Great photos. Can you tell us about the photo gear you are using, and perhaps lenses?

Might I add, your photo shows what is allegedly a sinkhole. I'm not fully considering it a rogue missile crater from the Green River complex :D

Great times, glad you and your brother could make it.

Canon 30D. I usually have three lenses that I take with me. 50mm 1.8, 10-22mm 2.8, 70-200mmL 2.8

Good times for sure. I have my suspicions about the missile crater as well, but I'm "officially" posting pics as a sinkhole so as not to attract attention from the feds. :)

Thanks for sharing the pics! I love seeing all the cool desert terrain you guys have down south, especially through the eyes of an excellent photographer!

Yeah, I thought so too, any idea what this is about? Didn't see anything like it in the Field Guide to Rock Art Symbols, not that it's comprehensive.

Great Pics of an amazing area, thanks for posting them up.

Could just be me but when I saw it with the quote right above it I thought it looked a bit like a "lone warrior". He's got his shield up in front of him. He might have horns and a tail too though, not sure about Native American lore, don't know if their concept of "demons" is similar to the Judeo-Christian lore. Or that could be a spear hanging on his side and not a tail...
