Hello,
here some information about mobile satellite communication. Those of you who understand German can get an idea of costs, advantages and limitations of the different satellite communication systems.
IRIDIUM is most universal, not only because it works around the globe, but most expensive at the same time.
INMARSAT IsatPhone pro works around the globe except the polar regions, but is the cheapest.
Thuraya works on 4 continents (not in the Americas), is very small and light and has the highest data rate by far of these 3 systems.
