Saturday on the SS was sweet!

After I got off work and before the wife returned from her Spring Break I had some time to play. I headed over to Green Mountain to see how far I could make it. For the first time ever on my SS I made the entire climb without walking any of it. That was a first for me. I'm not saying I made it all in one shot, but I am going to work on that. This was also the first time I actually went to the top, I normally just take the single track and continue, this time I weent up the fire road to the peaks. Great views from up there!

After gettting back down to the parking lot I looked over at the car behind me parked in 2 spots and started to laugh after reading the plate. I guess it really is a warning. LOL

Well Done! Don't worry about making it all the way without walking. That will come with time. For now consider it an adventure and just have fun! Looks like an interesting place to ride. I'm just guessing, but it looks like it could get pretty windy up there. Keep the photographs coming and if you can stick a GPS on your bike. I would love to see the route as well as the numbers.

I will work on the GPS part, I was just given an old garmin and I have to learn how to use it. The wind can be a bit brutal at times, but there are a lot of tracks to ride there!
