My Favorite bolt guns are based on the Rem 700. They are not stock, but they are not bench rifles. They are used hard as hunting rifles and will shoot groups of under an inch at 100 yards with factory ammo. That is good enough for me. I am sure with load development and a patient shooter, (which I'm not) they shoot better then I am capable of doing. Seems to me that most guns are more capable than the shooter. I just don't have it in me to take my time concentrating off the bench. I enjoy watching those who can do it.
