Scepter fuel cans for sale

Got my 2 Sceptre cans yesterday, thanks Max!

I got one with a yellow strap (was told this was a diesel can) and one without a strap.

Question now is how do I clean them?

(I'll be filling them with gas)

$35 seems a bit on the steep side for used. I would be interested if it was $20 each with shipping. (Just being honest).

Ebay seems to have new ones for 25-30 new.

Soap and warm water. Rinse with water, then allow to dry. (put in sun)

viton gasket is a must if storing full. DOT requires red strap (Suppose paint or tape would work too) for transportation.

No Viton gasket and gas stored in MFC = cracked cap flange / leak


DOT does not require a red strap or cap - it's a myth.

Just got my four cans. That was quick. Thx my straps are on their way from ds tactical. Work great with my new army hunter wall tent heater :wings:

A little cleaning with steel wool and a quick shot of green paint and look good as slightly used.

I could not find anything either but help out your local firefighter and help him understand the hazard as the response is different.
