What do they adapt to?

Are there adaptors let you easily draw from them with a pump?

Isn't the thread on the scepter water cans standard hose thread? -- So these are merely expensive hose to pipe thread adapters which are available everywhere.

If the scepter can is not standard hose thread then these would be useful if you want to adapt to standard national pipe thread. They will also need a standard hose washer to seal, doesn't look to be included.

My $1.49 spout. A little black electrical tape on the hose bibb threads.

Exactly what I have been using... I keep one cap with the faucet on it all the time and swap it onto the jug when at the campsite. I'm afraid to leave it on during transport for fear of breaking the cap if it gets hit. These little adapters are just another option....
