scepter military fuel cans mfc's diesel or gas new

Just wanted to see if anyone had any interest or any love for the scepter mfc's?

I used them exclusively while in the military and also for my personal expedition or camping trips. They just seem hard to beat and are rugged and gluttonous for abuse.

I haven't found anything better yet any other products I should look at instead? I see they are now hard to find anymore as there not carb compliant. However I have a line on a couple dozen scepter can in gas or diesel that are brand new.

Waiting on prices but hopefully not more than eighty bucks. Thoughts?

You used to be able to find them at gun shows or Army surplus stores easily. Sadly, that is not the case today. I love them. I have several, and want several more, but they are a bit pricey these days.

Keep us posted. I would be interested in a couple if you manage to get a good deal. I found a fuel and a water Scepter for 35 total locally. I would love to get a few more fuel cans.

Yes, what Douglas S. said. A bit more pricey than the tactical store link posted above, but on the other hand there is a nationwide chain of stores to buy from.

Canucks have been figuring solutions to order stuff from the USA for decades even when they won't ship north, so the opposite can't be that hard :D

For instance -- we can get things shipped to freight forwarders near the border and either pick up or sometimes they'll ship them along. Or get a group buy and see if a Border-town ExPo'er will run across and bring them back for you.

There's a lot of demand for these Scepter cans down in the US. I have 4 of them and they are fantastic, but some sort of wrench for the caps is critical. I use a strap wrench that cost about 6 bucks, also at Princess Auto. They don't leak, won't rust, and they don't mind being thrown around, but at the same time they aren't too heavy. I've not seen a better option out there.

I'd be interested in two at least, depending on what shipping to zip 76501 would be.
