Scepter water can spout?

hello, just picked up 2 tan Scepter water cans. Is there anyone that can send me a link to a place I can purchase a spout specific to these cans. (water spout, not fuel spout). Thanks , Jason

A spout is just a spout.... until you put fuel in it. Then it is only a fuel spout.

Just order the 1" fat one from Brigade Quartermasters instead of the long skinny one.

Hmm, I thought the cap size was different between the Scepter MFCs and MWCs - thus, I wouldn't think the spouts would be interchangable. I actually thought they did that on purpose so no one would make a mistake in the field. Anyway, could someone who knows for sure chime in so I know for sure? Thanks.

I have never heard of a scepter watercan spout and I've had the pleasure of drinking out of them for the last 20+ years.

The only difference I know of are the handles. But I may be mistaken.

I never thought of using a spout with the water can. No big deal if you spill some and you have 2 options for pouring the water out. Undo the large cap or the small one and open the vent.

You were right! I went out in the garage and checked... (duh). The water can lid is larger in diameter.

thanks for the clairification. I, agree with IggyB, I've never seen a need for a spout on the MWC as the cap is set up for direct pour and works very well.

Try checking to see if a water hose will fit on the small lid and cut your own spout.
