And so you guys know, I've been running my ARB fridge off of a single battery setup (Die Hard Plat Grp 31) for about 2 months now with zero issues. Truck sits for 24-48 hours with the fridge running continuously; zero hesitation on startup.

Just got one today before the sale was off....

Any issues fitting it where the original was?

Thanks, Pat
EDIT: Just found this again...TY! http://www.toyota-4runner.org/5th-gen-t4rs/92219-sears-die-hard-platinum-group-31-a.html

Here's a little update...

I odered the Platinum 31M online, paid for it, and went to local Sears store and picked it. Smooth...seamless.

I removed the OEM battery and tray (crap pc. of plastic, on their off road flagship..really Toyota?)

I cut a pc. of 1/8" aluminum the size of the Sears 31M and pre drilled for self tappers, and then installed the new tray. I covered it with a self stick rubber flashing to add a little cushion and reduce slippage (I should work for Toyota). I used the original cables....just flatened out the connectors a bit and they reach.

Nice thing about this battery is it has has a set of wing nut posts for adding goodies down the line.

In the last picture you can see my Blue Sea ST fuse Blade Fuse Block.....I added a direct 10# line to the back of the 4Runner last week for the fridge. The battery will add serious power for all sorts of 12v goodies....ie...fridge, compressor, addtional lighting, and list goes on and on...

Thanks Joneseyy for leading the way!!

+1 to the PM-1 club, brought my multimeter down to make sure the battery was legit, tested out at 12.75v

damn this thing is HUGE and heavy

going to see if I can shoehorn it under the hood, if not its going under the sleeping platfom in the cab

Would be curious to know which Sears Platinum would fit the FJ Cruiser....website won't identify...

I'm running the P-5 for the main (starting & winching) battery in mine. It is the prefect width and height, but shorter than the stock Panasonic, although it has quite a bit more CCA than stock.

Thanks for posting about the sale, last night I bought a Diehard Platinum P-5 (Group 35) to replace my stock Panasonic and Marine Diehard Platinum PM-2 (Group 34) for my secondary, both for $380 with tax and core. I am happy.

Marine, Battery Platinum PM-2 Group size 34M $164.47 +tax. Can anybody recommend a good battery tray for this battery? I need to make a mount on my passenger side wheel well. Thanks!

I just left the sears site and the marine PM2, I think it was, was $197, sale good until 8/27, sounds like I need to go back and buy now
