I can really appreciate what you saw!

A few years back when my daughter was only 13 (she is 19 now)....and pre~4x4 4Runner. I was heading up the "Apache Trail" in the trusty 'ole Buick Le Sabre......hehe. A few miles past the old town with saddle up bar (Tortilla Flat....that's it!)....and just before heading down the steep cliffhanger "pucker" hill......my daughter looks over a mile away or so and says......"hey Dad!....LOOK!.....and Big Horn Sheep"!

I had told her before to watch for them because this is their country. ....and here she spots one so far away. There it was proudly standing on a peak checking out the world around it!

It was very Kewl!

Thanks for sharing the pics!

Great photos all!

The panos are especially fascinating, Chris. Thanks for the 'arrows' for explanation.

We really enjoyed the panos when I downloaded them to the video projection for viewing on our Home IMAX screen.*

*(Just kidding. :D Wouldn't that be nice, though?)

Awesome Pictures!:luxhello: Too bad I could not join you guys for some fun! (Stupid work, gets in the way of everything fun...) Looks like some great photo ops, and some great views that will last a lifetime.

Chris... Outstanding panoramic shots... I like the second one (pre-arrows) best!

Aaron... Love the last shot of Chris. It puts everything into perspective.

Ummm only TWO vehicle shots!? Where are the beloved WHITE BajaTaco, the WHITE 4Runner PC Machine, the WHITE Disco and the GREEN Trooper pictures all hiding?

Edit: Spoke too soon... Nice pic's added Aaron... I like the exhausted dog shot!

and a couple more. Sorry for so many, I took 87 pics this weekend, I can't decide which ones I like the best.
Uwe & Brian on the trail:

Chris surveying the trail ahead of us:

It is hard to see due to the shadows, but Brian was only on two wheels during this shot:

and again, the very cool Chaser trailer:

Sorry Wil, I did not get a lot of vehicle shots, I know Chris snapped a few of us coming down the hill where the shots of the Disco and Trailer were taken. He might be a nice guy and post em up.

PC Machine..........that is funny:jump:

Excellent pics Chris! Man and there are still more on the chips:coffee:

What "PC machine" ? Just because a guy has a monitor in the truck?;) Of course our first meeting might have left an impression with that monitor rising out of the dark bushes heading right for ya:victory:

Okay, here is something off of that monitor:

The hikes:

Saturday:
blue - hike 1, ~3.7miles; Chris & Uwe (everybody hiked the wash sections)
red - hike 2, ~2.4miles; Brian, Chris, Uwe
Sunday early morning:
yellow - hike 3, ~1.8 miles; Srisuda & Uwe

Yup, that is exactly why... Just as soon as the headlights went off, I was blinded, yet again, by a giant OZI EXplorer map! How freaking cool was that!?:victory:

I was soooo jealous in comparison to my PDA display version...

Thank you for the report and photos, everyone! I love the shot of Uwe and his 4Runner. And his computer system continues to amaze me. Any trip now I'm expecting an infrared satellite video of us all hiking taken from geosynchronous orbit.
