Just got back yesterday from an nice long trip to Sedona. This was a comfy trip staying at a timeshare resort but we had tons of fun anyway.
We left Tucson Tuesday morning around 7am. We took the freeway through Phoenix but then headed toward Wickenburg to go up through Prescott the back way. My wife had never seen much north of Phoenix so we had to take the scenic route.
We ran pretty much non-stop to Prescott and then planned on taking our time from there. After eating lunch we stopped by the Overland Journal/Adventure trailer offices to say hi. They were having loads of fun unloading the OvExpo Safari tent from the 26' box van that it took to haul it.
After that we cruised through the Granite Dells a bit.
I somehow didn't take any pictures between Prescott and Sedona...Oh well.
The view from our patio.
A few sightseeing pics from our 1st full day in town.
This was a family trip. We met up with the in-laws and toured around with them.
Thursday my father-in-law rented a Jeep so we could hit some trails. We started out on Broken Arrow, then Shnebly Hill, and finished off the day with Soldier Pass.
