Sedona May 27th (possible)

Heading out to Flagstaff, AZ the weekend of May 26/27 to pick up an old land rover. Most likely going to be meeting a friend in Sedona for one day of wheeling. Anyone here is welcome to meet up.:wavey:

Put me down for a tentative for this one. I might be able to make it for this. I am itching to get off the pavement and hit the dirt again soon, and what better place than the trails around Sedona.

My buddies in the forest circus expect that restrictions and outright area closures will be implemented before Memorial Day weekend in the Prescott, Kiabab, Coconino, Tonto and Apache/Sitgreaves NF's. The fire danger is beyond extreme up here...

It looks like I will be in AZ on the 26th (so far), so lets try to get together!

Sounds good to me. BUT... I'm not sure that the 26th will be the right date. I am in the commercial mortgage business and I am waiting for a big one to close. I am getting a 1962 88" 2a RHD diesel Land Rover with part of my commission. Depending on when it comes back from the underwriter to fund depends on when I head out to AZ. Hopefully it will all be done by then, if not, it will be pushed back by two weeks.

Now I just have to round up some lady friends. A 7 person truck with 1 or 2 people is just silly.

As of now, I am still planning on going up there. We do need to check to see if it is going to be open due to fire restrictions.

As of now there are no closures. It just poured rain today up here for a good half hour. That may delay any closures. But, the whole thing is out of our hands.
