Seeking Tips on Evaluating Used Fusos

Hi Fuso brain trust- I'm going to be looking at a couple of 2007 Fusos this month (4.9l with manual trans). I know how to do a basic inspection of a used car/truck, but diesel COEs are new to me. Are there any specifics to watch for when going over these things? Quirky Fuso things that can bite you later? Specific trouble spots? Things to do during the test drive?

Search this section of the forum, as this question has been asked and answered numerous times already.
Rust in the chassis is the main one, especially around the step area. If the trucks have been used as a snow plow, stress cracks at the front of the chassis is another area to pay attention to.
You can also read the manual about how to read flash error codes on the dash. Unless previous errors have been cleared (which I would do) you can see if the truck was not happy about something.

Anything without rust, not a plow, and under 200k miles should be considered. Very much a workhorse and very reliable. Someone has two 2007’s or are they separate?
