That is a very cool truck. Timm did a very nice job on it (as always). Would make a pretty capable expedition platform.

cheers

very nice classic look and with a diesel I would love to have...
I wish sometimes I didn't have my FJC along with the cash into it so that when something like this comes up I could get it...
Then again I like AC here in Phx :)
Very nice ride thanks for the heads up

Through the roof?

Build one then come back and tell us the truth.

29K is NOT unreasonable. BTW, I would know...Timm has helped me do 2 trucks. I would have been happy to have kept either one of them to 29K.

You think it'll sell for 29k? I doubt it.

Still one hell of a nice truck.

Good looking truck. Tires are a bit much for my tastes, but I like the concept.

What it is worth is only determined by what a buyer is willing to pay for it. There are very few projects that will sell for what the restorer/builder has invested in it.

Let's see...

tubo diesel,
selectable lockers,
power steering,
power disc brakes,
CLASSIC truck,
29MPG highway (WOW)

$29,000

There is no comparable vehicle I can think of offhand that you could purchase off the showroom floor, is there? Granted, there are a lot of parts grafted together here, but Michael Slade is right...there is no way I could build one for that much money.

I wish I could buy one (this one) actually, it looks like a beauty, and I could rationalize it pretty easily if I had money to burn.:)

That thing rocks! At about half of the price of a stock 110, twice the gas mileage of the 110, what's not to like. I'd try to deal a little, it's not badly priced IMHO.

That truck is awesome!

Just one point of fact, the front axle from a '96 FZJ80 would an 8" high pinion, not 8.4". It would have the electric locker, reverse cut gears and a 4-pinion gear design, excellent axle and just a minor correction from a 'Yota guy.

Wow, nice truck. If I had the dough I would pony up for that!! Change the tires and I'd be set to go. Lovely truck.
