Any how to/DIY pics descriptions?

Yeah I kinda missed that huh. Ok if using Yakima round bars remove the bar from the vehicle. Remove end caps if they exist. Take the bar to bike shop, have bike shop and hammer in 1" star fangled nut to the side you'd like the awing on. I did both sides. Head
To the hardware store for longer center cap bolts, the stock will not be long enough. Set your bar spacing no more than the length of the Shady Boy. Measure center to center span, measure again, Mark your center to center on the back of the Shady Boy housing.....drill drill, test fit, mount. Now very important, deploy awning and have a beer for your effort.

you could use a long socket to drive that star nut into the Yakima bar.
I want to say 11/16", but not 100% sure... try the right size I guess ?
