Thought I would stop by again to see how things are progressing, after reviewing the thread again and also going back looking at some of my last repairs that i did. The upper control arm(s) will also give the same driving symptoms that you spoke about. I noticed "teotwaki" also brought up the control arm(s).

Keep us informed when find the fix......

You know, I always try to diagnose/fix things on my own. But once I've exhausted a lengthy list of likely causes, I have no problem taking it to a legitimate shop to diagnose it. It helps to have another set of eyes and hands look at it from a different perspective, and it's worth $50 of frustration saved to me. Maybe get it into a shop?

That's exactly the plan. It'll go in this week.

I've found that, with other cars at least, that sometimes the shimmy is due to unevenly worn tires, low tire pressure or out of balance tires. Have your tires rotated and checked for balance and putting your best two up front and see if that changes anything

Already did. No improvement.

I was thinking along the same. Cupped tires and slop probably in the wheel bearings or ball joints. Could be alignment. I've had a separating tire cause the same condition. Good luck...
