Shell Cost

While price is a important data point, you might want to consider speaking with professional builders who have / are using these products. They have their reputations and company finances on the line so seeing what they use and asking them why is a critical data point IMHO.

For the three options you're considering there are numerous builders with personal experience using all three who would likely take your call and speak frankly about their personal experiences.

Additionally, different products have different price points for a reason; all three of your listed options are quite different in material choices and construction techniques.

It sounds like you potentially have an opinion here. Any interest in sharing?

One other note regarding price: the standalone shell cost is nearly identical between the three.

The variations are around the "extras": windows, cargo hatches, jacks, etc.

And while I appreciate the sentiments on "you get what you pay for" and agree that price isn't everything, if price is the difference between "I can afford a composite box" and "I need to consider other options," well...

The silence is pretty deafening, @Blackdogvan! (I can literally see that you were just logged in an chose not to respond.)

I'm pretty sure there are ethical concerns around vendors trying to influence buying decisions without disclosing their affiliations and relationships.

Not gett'n involved here, but that don't mean nutt'n. My computer stays on and logged in on Expo and I'm at the bar having a beer!

Ease up a bit, it's an opinion/advice and he may not want to get involved for many reasons.

I define "marketing" as "an attempt to deceive", where are there any ethics in marketing or, now days, advancing your opinion?

I agree. Good impartial advice was offered that didn't slant in any direction. I just thought it was a weird 1st post by someone who has been a member so long. Lots of bots on the forums now...

It was good advice, but the subtext was pretty obvious (those cheaper guys are worse). And if the person giving that advice is from the company that sells the more expensive product, I think that should be disclosed.
