Shipping Container Dimensions Help!

I seem to be getting all kinds of different numbers all over the internet about the actual internal dimensions of a high cube shipping container. I'm planning to build an expedition camper, that will be shipped around the world, and I want to make sure it will fit in a high cube box. Any and all help appreciated.

The problem is that I can't find a consensus: lots of sites say different things :( I'm trying to figure out the entry door height and the entry width.

8'6 1/4"H 7'8 1/8"W

8'5"H 7'6"W
http://www.sjonescontainers.co.uk/container/dimensions.asp
8.52' H 7.67'W
http://www.tis-gdv.de/tis_e/containe/arten/highcube/highcube.htm
8'5" H 7'6" W
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intermodal_container

I guess in the end they are all a bit different and I should just go with 8'5" H x 7'6" W to be safe. Every vertical inch matters in my build.

No rig yet, but deep in planning on a new build. Not a Mog or Fuso, although I'd love a Fuso based rig. Fuso is also a great option if you want to fit in a container, just a bit pricey for my lowly budget.

I haul intermodal containers for a living, a 40' high cube (HC) is 9'6" exterior (13'3" to 13'9" on a chassis depending on chassis), according to one of depot's the interior is 39'6" (we tell customers to allow no more than 39'2" long), interior header is 8'8". However, not all 40' HC boxes are the same, there is a slight variance to them due to time, aging, etc.. Generally, some measure 8'8" at the header, some measure only 8'6" at the header.
