Got a buddy with an 07 Tacoma wanting to tag along with us on one of our trips. I was wondering if the stock shocks will be able to handle washboard etc? Is there a GOOD budget option for shocks? All other suspension components are factory.

Nothing will like washboards that isnt a bit of coin. And just doing shocks inst going to do much IMO. Shocks and springs need to be matched well to work well together.
If the rest of the truck is stock then leave the stock shocks. How many miles are on the rig? Do they need to be replaced anyway? If they are not worn out just use them and drive appropriately.
