Shocks....expensive shocks....

I would second what Tim said about giving the guys at Fox details on your application and have them recommend a valving setup. I gave them front and rear axle weights, total GVW (loaded), travel, spring rates etc etc and they got close enough that I have not done any fine tuning. True my truck is no rage rig, but having raced buggies I have some sort of a feel for a good set-up and I have no complaints on how my truck handles. BTW I'm running Fox 2.0 10" emulsions.

cheers

Thanks for the info Tim. I have talked to Fox in the past, and I guess I should find some weights so I have all my crap in one sock when I call them.

i'd not spend the extra money on reservoir shocks. with a lighter rig like your SWB I don't really feel the extra expense is necessary, unless you're trying to win the baja 500 or something.

edit: this isn't to mean don't spend the cash on the fox 2.0's, or the bilstein equivelents - 7100's. both are a good shock, but save the cash for the emulsion version and put the extra $$$ into the travel fund.
