DE, what kind of material is that...does it come with the holes already in it?

It's just normal sheet metal to start. I then had a buddy with a water jet blast some holes into it that would fit a 3" dimple die. I then took said die to a fab shop and had them press the die onto each hole.

I modified the one for the two door to fit in my four door. It mounts to the roll bar the same. I had to drill two new holes in the front best top bar. The back besttop bar I bolted through the rack. I will try and get a photo.

Stupid question, but the stamped sheet metal with the holes in it, what is that called and how can I find some? I want to call my supplier and see if he has any but I have no idea what its called. Perforated sheet metal? Stamped Sheet metal? The thang with all them holes in it?

I don't have a rack, per say, but did build a cover from plywood and bed armor paint. I like to have my cargo secured at least concealed. I used 3/4 inch ply board. I can stack stuff on top of it, my 10 year old even stands on it. My reason was the clear windows on the top, no privacy. It works good, It just doesnt allow flexibility on the fly.
I added to eye bolts this year to secure the top.

That large hole pattern used on the rack is made with a dimple die. Chances are you wont find it at you 'average' metal supplier and will need to find a custom metal shop or 4x4 shop to do it for you.

I've got a simple rack I made up from a Yakima basket I scored on CL for $20. 3/4" iron pipe crossbars welded up to 1" tube risers that bolt to the hardtops factory sliding nuts. Its functional and set me back about $30 total…

This is stage one of my storage system. Small locking compartment for camera and phones and a quick access bin for recovery gear. The drawer system will fill the rest of the back this part just fills the dead space it was going to create.

I really like my Rampage rack. It fit my 50qt cooler, or my Waco CF35 on top and I can fit three 8 gallon action packers and more underneath. It swings out of the way or just two bolts to remove it altogether.

Howdy from Sweden

The AT shelf was to expensive to ship to Sweden and we have Front runners stuff here so I went with the Front runner interior rack. The AT rack look cool but people can se what You in the rear and it hindrance some of the view through the back window and it is not so long. AT is maybe better to secure stuff as it is a basket and not a flat shelf. But a shelf is also nice because I can put my computer or tab to watch movie on it if I have lowered the backseats and uses the frontseats as backrests similar to this before I had this rack, You get the picture:)

I have not really tried it yet, seems solid and no rattle yet.

I like that it is very long, from window to window and it hides my stuff under. It is high enough for my Waeco 40 and 25 lites fridges. If I dont have anything on the shelf I can still see through the back window.

When I saw the package I thought that they have sent me a hole roof rack, it is very heavy and big.

When I am sleeping in my Unlimited I thought to put my stuff on the shelf so I have space to sleep on.

For now I am happy with my purchase
