Show me your sleeping setups!

Just like the title says! I've been thinking about sleeping setups recently, and I'm interested to see what everyone else uses.

I'm a big guy and I like sleeping comfort. I know there are all kinds of setups, from bare bones minimalism to nearly 5 star hotel accommodations. I think I've finally got my sleeping setup dialed in. While I wait for my tent, I have received my new Kamp-Rite double cot. This thing is super cool. Sets up fast, rated for a lot of weight, and very comfortable. It's the dimensions of a queen mattress and even has a net hanging underneath to store things. Love this thing. It's the perfect size for me and the missus.

On top of that I set my Cabela's sleeping mat. It's kind of like the large Thermarest, but a little cheaper.

And on top of that, my Cabela's Mountain Trapper 20* bag. Rectangular, heavy duty materials, and lined with flannel. Like sleeping bags should be.

I've been looking for a good camping pillow to use. Thermarest sells them, but they are $25 each and not very comfortable. I was walking around Cabela's today, headed to the tackle shop, when I spotted these:

These things are awesome. They stuff into a bag of a reasonably small size, and are plenty comfortable. Plus, the 20x20 was $15 and the 10x20 was $1. I can stuff both pillows into the large bag. I love them.

My fiancee also has a sleeping pad, bag, and a pillow. This is about as plush as easily-collapsible camping gets. :D

It's rather bulky, yes, but my pickup swallows all this with plenty of space to spare.

Every time I have upgraded my sleep system I had to ask myself why I waited so long. I'm up to that 5 star level you mention. It's better than the bed at the house. It's so nice to get home and not be worn out. I came home from a three day adventure on Sunday evening and had all the energy in the world to unload everthing and square everthing away. Got up this morning like a regular day instead of being wiped out from 3 ruff nights. I'm also more inclined to go.

We use a Nemo Tango Duo set up. Two Cosmo Air Insulated with a memory foam outer sleeve designed to hold two Mattresses. You then have a Downtek comforter that goes on top of all of that. We also use the Nemo Luxury Pillows as well. Very comfortable and warm.

That is a nice setup. I currently use a BigAgnes 50" Hinman with two insulated aircore pads tethered together on top of it. Then I stuff all of it in the sleeve of a BA double wide bag. It is about 6" thick and comfy, but I do get some indention between the two aircore pads. I saw today A 52"wide Exped Megamat. I may have to swap out my two aircores for a Megamat....this set up works well for my ground tent, back of the SUV, or on top of that thing called a mattress in my RTT.

Yeah the RTT mattresses are kind of a joke.

I love the Exped Mega Mat. If I had one of those, I wouldn't need a cot. One of the most comfortable air mattresses I've ever been on.

This is not *my* Traverse but one that was for sale here a while back. However, this is the sleeping set-up.

I bring my regular down pillows from home and use an oversized camp rectangular sleeping bag (flannel lined). Very comfy.

I also just bought the Kamp-Rite double cot, but I'm not sure if I'm going to keep it. I put a queen air mattress on top and with the wife and I on it we were able to cuddle up and not hit the center bar. Sweet! But I'm not sure if this is how I want to go. Even though the air mattress "absorbs" the bar, the cot material (and air mattress) still sags under your body and you end up laying in an "air ditch." Maybe it wouldn't be so bad if the cot were wider, but as it is, my shoulders feel like they are starting to run out of room. I don't have any of the thick individual sleeping pads so I'll ask your experience: when laying on your setup, does the center of your body still "sag" compared to the sides?

Have you slept in the Mountain Trapper in cold weather yet? (I know "cold" is relative, so let's just go with <40 for this bag) I like the look of the bag a lot but I'm concerned that because they're so wide (36") that they'd have too much volume to easily keep warm.
