I mounted to the a pillar, behind the weather stripping. I had someone that lives close to me cut out the steel. Then I bent to fit my bar, painted it with rustoleum then plasti dip. One thing that was a bit of a pain was the a pillar is like triple walled, so on the inside I drilled with a 1/2" bit so that I could hold the nut to the mounting blots, but its on there solid and isn't moving, I can shake the whole truck by pulling on the bar.

Also used some clear silicone to help water proof the holes. I installed my switch in the OME switch next to the Driving Lights.

The telephone pole down the road was easy 100 yards. The photos don't really do it justice.

I just got this 94 from my dad since he just got an 07 Tacoma. He bought the truck in 1996 with 36k miles on it. We worked out a deal and now the truck is mine with 199k miles on it. Extremely clean, 22re, TRD cam, LC engineering headers, K&N air intake, exhaust, with mobil 1 synthetic oil through out. I just finished up getting it registered and titled in my name! I have been wanting this truck for 19 years.

Is that an ARB front bumper? I like the side protection too. How does it tie into the sliders, are they all one piece?
I've often thought ARB should have made their step-sliders with that forward side protection bar for the FJC. Nicely done.

Yes, it's an ARB. The rub rails are attached using tube clamps that have been welded to the sliders and the bull bar. The clamps allow the rails to be removed whenever needed.
