Shuttle valve replacement

Can the shuttle valve be replaced without taking the brake lines off? I had a guy tell me that it could be done I unbolted it and it only lifted about an inch.

If not I know the brakes will need to be bled what's the best way to do it?

You need to lift up harder. The lines will flex enough that you can get it up and actually be able to see what your doing.

Make sure you get the three bolts and rubber mounts off then you will be able to access the bottom side. An extra set of hands will help or maybe use a small strap anchored to the bottom side of the hood to keep it high enough.
