Yes the bronco has a hard back side that flips up and clicks into place. It adds maybe 30 seconds to set up and tears down times. It's a palamino bronco 1250.

It's great because it gives you a full size door to go in and out of.

He says when he does a few more upgrades he's going to get throw them up online to show his progress.

PIMP my ride

I had some checker plate siting around so I upgrated the kitchen to make it look a little more modern.
I connected the plate with some all purpose silicone. That's all I had laying around.
It should work just fine.

I'm happy with way it looks.

Camper Storage

There is a metal shop next door.
Some sort of bending machine i asume.
I have been working on locking storage doors on both sides of the camper.
The two storage areas will utilize the spaces on each side of the bed to the camper.
I have plans to add a latch and pad lock on each side.
This will give me storage for my camper legs and tools and skis on the other side.
I have the hinge bolted into the camper so the doors are not fixed to my truck during removal.

Cradle

So today I buit a very simple cradle, so when I slide in the camper it centers it on the wheel wells.
This also prevents the camper slidding back and forth while in transport.
It also holds the locking platforms for my custom storage doors.
I sprey painted any part you would be able to see while the camper is on the truck.

Road trip - Florida for NYE

I am on a 2 week road trip with the old lady.
Toronto canada to Florida and back.
We have been staying with friends most nights but every once in a while we get to use the camper.
Like on the drive down we stayed in West Virginia at a free campsite we found on freecampsites.net

Glade Creek Campground

This is a FREE campsite.
Prince, West Virginia
GPS: 37.854561, -81.059532
Directions
Public - National Park Service (Official)
Website
The road in is Gravel and 2-6 miles from a paved road. Glade Creek Campground is open Year round. There are 6-15 campsites at this location and the maximum RV length is Not a mobile home. You may stay 14 at Glade Creek Campground.

It was a great spot. No one was there and we got to camp right on the water.

Kitchen

After my last little trip I have come to the conclusion that I have no need for a sink and water that comes out of the small pump faucet.
So I got rid of them both and added and ikea cutting board.
Now I have way more space for prep and serving.
I use and water jug and any cleaning I do , is done on the outside of the camper anyways.
Here is a before and after of the sink area.

Carpet

I wanted a warmer feel in the camper.
I found the the linoleum floor cold even with socks on.
So I purchased a 5x6 foot section of indoor out door carpet.
I then custom cut the carpet to fit into the space.
I'm very happy with the outcome. The only hard part what cutting out the hole for the table leg.

Warm walls

I am currently on a 2 month road trip with my pop up truck camper.
Started in Toronto Canada
Went down to Florida for New Years
Now I'm back in the Canadian Rockies doing some skiing.
I have had a few cold night where I found the propane heater to be running a little to much.
So what I did was buy about 40 feet of - insulated drapery - by the warm company
I made grom holes in the material and added small hooks into the ceiling of the camper.
It has completely changed the feel of the camper.
It Instanly felt warmer and less drafty.
I would recommend this type of install to anyone planning on winter camping.

Nice job Davious.
What EXACTLY was the product you used from the Warm company? Their website has few pictures.

I have been camping in Wyoming for the last few weeks and it feels like home.

Here is a link to the product.
It is a warm curtain , to make drapes for your home.
Here is what I hope is the link you are looking for

https://warmweb.warmcompany.com/us/warm-window.aspx

It really changes the feel of the camper.
You don't feel the gusts of wind and the heater turns on alot less, so you sleep is much more peaceful.
Hope this helps.

I used the foil covered insulation available at Home Depot. Cut it to fit the area of the fabric and put it behind the roof bars. We store it under the mattress. We noticed the same difference in warm and we surprised at how much the reflectivity of the foil brightened the interior.
