Skamper 072S weight?

I've got a line on a very nice Skamper 072 that would fit my Ford Ranger long-bed to a T. The seller thinks 800 pounds. Does anybody know the weight before I send him off to the scales?

My guess would be closer to 1000#. But if he will scale it for you all the better

I have a Sun-Lite Hawk. Really similar to your Scamper, even the same length. My stamp claims 794 loaded to camp...I find that very hard to believe. Feels close to a grand.

I had a Skamper 060S and if I remember correctly the sticker said about 750 lbs loaded. I always had a hard time believing that as well. I agree with djmase, probably closer to 1000 bls.

There are two here on the east coast I've been watching on Craigslist. Both owners say 1000 pounds. So, I would plan on being right at my max weight with people and camper.
