Ski Bum Truck V2.0, F450 Rough Road RV

OK so some googling says it should be either 26-7 or 34-6oz depending on which spec this truck is.... So I "should" have enough refrigerant in it, but the pressures are not quite right. Low pressure side drops to 20psi and the compressor cycles off. Plugged orifice tube perhaps? High pressure side never goes above 150

Don't know you temp but it looks like about 1/2 can would do. I like to see 225 +- and 37 to 45. Did you pump it down first ?? The 134's don't like to be over charged.

Nope didn't vac it down as it still had pressure. Temp was ~70 outside.

Had another fun weekend, but ran into a crappy situation..... I broke the black tank..... Not sure exactly where yet, need to dump it and clean the area.....

Oy vey.

I'll take you guys along for the crappy ride.

Step 1, drive to Seattle to pick up endoscope from the shop. There is exactly 2" between the top of the tank and the floor. Bring able to see in there would be handy.

It's leaking from the top area, I suspect it's where the toilet flange is glued to the top of the tank. Yes glued..... Which means having to try to cut it loose if I need to drop the tank.

Step 2.
Supplies. Plus dumping..... I see one split at the top edge. Looks like I flexed and split where the lip is at the top. More cleaning needed before investigating.... I think I can add a piece of steel to keep The flex down.

Not really. It's not UV stable at all. Yellowed and turned to powder
