Sleep solo in my JKU next to ARB fridge? Or buy a nice tent?

This is my rig, I also use the window ventilation panels ordered from Germany, work well.

Thats great :)

Maybe you just took a photo, but do you sleep like that? because it does not look so flat and the rear headrest are facing upward, the headrest should be facing down when the front seats are pushed forward and tilted as much as possible. When I think of it I sleep on my stomach so I want it flat but someone that sleep on there back might find it great that it is not flat, maybe ha ha :)

Nah, just took a photo. I'm 5'6" and when I sleep I put the passenger seat all the way forward (when the headrest flatens out I usually have something underneath it for support) and it is quite flat with plenty o' room to spare.

It's not too bad. I put my fridge on top of the 40% folded seat. Luckily it's very quiet. I slide the passenger seat all the way forward and fold down the rear seat. You can fill in the gap between the cargo area and folded seat with a towel. It's still not flat, but it works. What I did is install an 8" tall drawer in the cargo area. So when solo, I bring a table or piece of plywood that runs from the folded seat to the drawer, creating a flat sleeping platform wide enough for a 25" sleeping pad. With the front seat folded, my 6ft body just fits. Not as spacious as in a Land Cruiser. But I've slept that way over 14 nights or so, sometimes several nights in a row without issue. I sleep better than I would in a tent since the inside of the Jeep is quiet and warmer.
