nice!

Give me your wheels and tires.

Thanks in advance.

I see a lot of them for sale used on CL, and have thought about picking up another set. I'm amused that back in the day 32" rubber was pretty tall, but now that they come stock nobody wants them! I'll definitely wear these out before I buy another set. They cost me too much and I'm too Scotch I guess........

Alright!

Installed:

Got it done in about 3 hours, working alone. What a great product. All the hardware was there, and the finish is super nice. Only had to look at the instructions a couple times, it's pretty dang easy. I got the mesh insert for over the "freedom panels" and the wind faring as well. I'll put those on later, after a short break. I will say the wind noise starts at about 45. Ha.

Awesome! Love it, and love the more reasonable build.

Thanks! Trying to keep it simple. Doing a DIY tailgate table this weekend too. I'll put up pictures of that as well. So far I'm $10 into it.

I might even keep *gasp* STOCK SUSPENSION!!!

Not tires though. I also have a leveling kit. So I guess its not stock then. Never mind.

I will tomorrow. Any areas/angles you are interested in?

I can't stress again how well thought out this thing is. I can't wait to stick a bunch of bikes and gear on it.

I put in some 1" front leveling spacers today, the nose down was driving me nuts. Subtle, but nice:

After driving around a bit, I can feel the weight of the rack on top. Good excuse for springs. Ha.

I've had my JKUR for a little over a year on stock suspension and it does just fine unloaded. Hate how it squats when loaded down though.

How bad is the wind noise on the Gobi while running the hard top? A rack is very much on my list.

It's actually pretty OK. It sounds like you are driving during a windy day, or like running load bars on a car.

Not bad at all.
