SLS airback bracket mod

Had a quick look underneath there and I'm curios how some people have modified it took give them an extra inch in height. By the looks of it a simple bracket will do it.

As for the airbag, will it be at a disadvantageous position. Or will it be ok as Landrover setup the extented height at almost 2 inches higher?

you don't have to mod anything. the rte spacers come with a new bracket for the sensors and allow you to adjust the height to whatever you desire. i have mine set at 3 inches and still able to use the off road mode to clear severe slopes or boulders. any further than that though you will be limited by the shocks.

I know the kit comes with a bracket but I thought i basically set the sensors at 2 inches.

There are some individuals who modified it by allowing it to go an extra inch higher.

dude you do not, i repeat do not, have to modify anything to get and extra inch out of rovertyms kit. you can bump up the sensor height to five inches if you had long travel shocks. you have to get on a level surface and play with the brackets that relocate the sensors till you get the result you want. all they do is move up and down by the loosening of a bolt.
