Would a SMB RB E350 Penthouse Top fit on an Excursion?

Does any one have the dimensions of the SMB RB Penthouse Top?

I do not know the answer to your question but next week I will be cutting off the roof of an excursion limited and building a custom pop top on it. If your interested drop me a pm and i will keep you updated with pictures and details.

It will be close, but probably not an exact fit. The short wheelbase E-Series has a 124 inch wheelbase, long wheelbase version 138 inches. The Excursion has a 137 inch wheelbase.

I've owned a 2001 7.3 Diesel since new.
Anyone know of a link to one that's already done???

No, you're not. I was just looking at the tops the other day. Read a thread on a guy who had SMB put one on his van. About 5K. They are local here in Austin. I should stop by and ask them if it's doable. I would love to have it on my Ex.

My understanding the E series wheelbase is the same, both the EB and the RB are identical. the body is just longer.
