Smittybuilt scout top box thinking

I have one and I don’t really ever need to lower the tent but what to do with all the space!?

So

I’m thinking about building an aluminum box to sit on top of the box but below the tent. Incorporate a water tank maybe. Two side boxes, middle long t shaped box, battery and electronics up in the front, little angle to help with wind!?

Thoughts, ideas?
