Snow chains for 35"ers?

My vote....

Save the chains for ice. If your in deep snow air down.

Rud does make there the '4x4 grip' chains for up to 33x12.5 tires. They make there normal 'grip' chains into the unimog tire sizes but they get very expensive. They are the nicest chain system I have seen however. they go on SLICK!

I was looking into chains the other day and came across the Bill Burke snow chains article that also spoke highly of the 4x4 Grip chains.

They do look pretty slick.

I have a high quality set of tire chains for 35s, I forget the manufacturer but they are really nice and have never been used other than for test fitting. I'll see if I can dig them up but I would sell them pretty cheap probably, like $100 or so...

Hell, I just dropped $3,000 into the truck, what's another $100. If you come across them, I'd be interesed.

Chains at Costco.com

If you are looking for tire chains, it appears that Costco.com has a pretty good deal going on for them at $115

I don't think they have any to fit 35" tires.

I would highly suggest cam locking V-bar chains with spider tensioners,

I carry two sets and I can't think of a better traction aid, they are a must around here if you want to go anywhere after November.
