Snow Peak Gasburner Stove Experience

Hi, I'm from Germany and need your help.

I would like to order a Snow Peak GigaPower LI Stove or the Double Burner Standart Stove Gas Burner.

Has anyone tested both gas burners? What is the quality of the two gas burners? Which one would you recommend? Currently I have the Snow Peak Baja Burner, the burner head is a bit small because of the heat distribution!

I have already asked Snow Peak US about the burner diameter, unfortunately they could not help me. Does anyone know the diameter of the burner heads?

I have a GigaPower LI. It is buried in my storage closet right now but I would estimate the burner head is about 4 inches or 10 cm across. Its a good sized burner and its very powerful at 34,000 BTU. I use it mostly with their wok setup and it gets a carbon steel wok hot really quickly. Here are some pics with it on a 3 space IGT. If you need exact measurements I will gladly get it out and measure it. Also you might post this over in Overland Chef under the Snow Peak addiction thread. BTW I run mine off propane without any issues.

I use it when I camp. Its put up with my other gear. I have a small storage area for my gear and its packed in pretty tight. I keep everything in one spot so I don't have to hunt things down or forget something when I pack.

Hello DCG141. I recently bought the Gigapower stove and I intend on using it for a wok. Where did you get the wok ring? That looks pretty dialed. Looks like the wok will stay put. I have a wok ring that sits on the burner rails, but they need channels filed into the ring and then placed onto the rails carefully, subject to move with a bump.
I haven't fired up the stove yet because I was unsure how well it would work, and it cost a lot of money. Your post tells me that it will work for a wok, among other purposes too. So I'll probably keep the stove.
