Congrats on the truck purchase. I had a Dakota with a 4.7 and 5spd manual and it was a great truck. That motor really responds well to some airflow mods if you want to go that route. I had a K&N FIPK, Airaid throttle body spacer, and Flowmaster cat back on mine and it improved from 18mpg to 20mpg and had loads more power. Enjoy the truck.
