So the sport bested a 4Runner this weekend! :)

The uphill battle begins
My step daughters boyfriend got his truck and trailer stuck in my mothers backyard after going fishing. I got the call when I was bring the Sport back to Mom's house after its water pump repair. I stopped and got 2 towstraps from Wal-Mart. There was some ridiculous carshow in town that caused 2 wrecks between home and us when we got the call, so i opted to forgo getting ones from the house.

I arrived on the scene to see The poor kid out there stuck with his 2000 model Chevy full size 2500. The neighbor had come over with his 4Runner to pull him out. Then the 4Runner got stuck. Once unhooked the 4Runner barely made his way out with folks pushing him.

So I hop in the sport and drive on down. Figure why not give it a shot. I have yet to try out the 4wd... So I tossed him, the tow straps and backed in. We coupled the straps together so I was about a foot past where the 4Runner had dug his holes. I slowly took the slack out of the line and he got on the gas. Sport creeped ever so slightly to the right... about a foot and his truck was finally moving fwd. Pulled him out in less then a minute. Trailer and all. So score one for the Mickey Thompsons in mud and the the Sport doing his thing!

Take that 4runner! :) I think it was even a newer model them my sport too. The dude took off before I even got there. Guess he didn't want to see a girl best his rig. LOL!

Nope....thank goodness.

That was her X when she was in high school.

This boyfriend is a good guy. The kids grew up together. He is one of her brother's friends who she always had a crush on and she finally got his attention lol.

Poor guy stopped to open the gate to get out of the back yard and the whole truck slip sideways on some roots into a nasty patch of mud. His rear tires were dug in a good foot by the time I got there. He was trying so had to not be passed off at his truck.

As for pictures... it was 1100 at night with tempers high... & no good lighting. I figured handing them my phone and saying "hey film it might not go over well." Lol!

Thats wouldve been a cruel irony if it were lol.

Poor guy, it really sucks getting stuck up like that.
Glad the sport got the job done!!!

Don't think my wife's brand new TRD PRO Inferno would be so quick to get stuck :smiley_drive: Of course I have not bought a rig with out a factory locker for almost 20 years....So I cheat what of it? :victory:
