So what are y'all doing with your license plates on your M416's?

I just got my M416 today. :wings: And I need to put a plate on it. Are y'all just screwing / bolting them to the body & putting a light on? Seems a shame to drill a hole for a plate, but hanging it below the driver's side light seems a bit too low.

Ideas/photos welcome for an M416 Noob.

I don't have a light. My plate is held on with a strong magnet. It takes both hands to remove it, so it shouldn't fall off. I just stick it close to the tail light so it gets some light on it.

I run it vertical on the backside of the left fender with a license plate light.

Plates not required in MN anymore**, so I just have a 'permanent' tag up on the tongue.

Do you have a closeup of the license plate light - is it facing down from the end of the plate, or sideways from the top of the plate?

They are mounted across the side (the top of the plate if mounted correctly)
