1998 Street Legal Honda XR400 with VERY low miles/hours :drool:. I am the 2nd owner and due to other obligations/hobbies/school/life/etc , maybe only rode the bike on 10 rides over the past 8 years. Three of the rides were dual sport charity rides, one was across the Mojave Road and the others were day rides in the local San Bernardino Mountains (fire roads, etc). I do not see my life freeing up enough anytime soon so I have made the decision to let her go to a good home. I purchased the bike bone stock and built it to what it is today. This bike was never raced or abused. It was ridden by an adult intermediate rider and the oil was changed after EVERY ride. Although the bike was not ridden, it was started religiously every weekend, ridden around the neighborhood (about 1-2 miles), the fuel shut off and allowed to run until the carburetor bowl would run dry. The bike always starts on the first if not second kick and is 100% reliable. I would not hesitate to ride this bike anywhere as it never has given me any problems. It is street legal/licensed (very rare these days! ) The engine is bone stock and never has been opened. Regular valve adjustments have been done and she runs like a clock. This bike is bullet proof and with almost $2500 in upgrades, additional equipment and new parts, this is a steal to say the least.
