Thanks! That is great news. I just wanted to get some feedback on the rough trails as well. I don't want to do anything drastic with this but would like the peace of mind that wherever I go within reason this can as well.

Have you seen both in person? We have an XV2 with james baroud at the office and my teardrop is here today for some photos. Come by and I'll let ya check both out and see how you like them. I find laying in the trailers mid day will give you a good idea of heat and size etc

I left my doors open all day at the Overland Rally. There was a light breeze at times so I think it helped move air out of the trailer. I think either way with a tent or a teardrop you're gonna get some trapped in heat.

The XV2 is an awesome trailer. There were a few of them on display at the Rally. I like the ARB outfitted one you can get. Comes with the RTT, annex, awning, and 2 chairs.

Chris you helped me tremendously!! So everyone, I have definitely decided on the So-Cal. It looked like it was made really well, and tough, just what I wanted. No, it was not hot and really well made. I think this will serve me just great. The xventure with the James Barod tent was great as well. Yes, it is built like a tank! But all in all, I want the convenience of pulling into a camping spot and I am basically all set up. I'll have the kitchen, running water, etc. The teardrop will take just as much on the harder trails as the venture. So I am so excited now. Thanks Chris!! Thanks everyone for pitching in as well.

Yulli how did the battery do on the trip??
It lasted me close to 3 days. The temps were in the 90s to 100. So the fridge ran quite a bit. I also had lighting, stereo, and fan going at times. I eventually bought a solar set up at the NW Overland Rally since there were vendors there. I was in need of something to keep the battery going, and my fridge, so I ended up getting the solar power.

I talked to some people and they projected about 3 days of use. Now that I have solar, I can just plug it in once I unhook from the truck and I'll be set all weekend.

I don't know a whole lot about Solar and the amount of power it needs/draws. I just talked to the guy at the NWOR and he a 60 watt for me would work fine. All I run is LED lights, stereo, fan, and fridge. He said the fan and fridge would draw the most power.
