No, I am suggesting that they Advanced 4x4 front ends are bottoming out much more that people think. When the axle contacts the bump stop, it will transfer the grease, and you will be able to tell that it bottomed.

The other thing to do is put Zip Ties on your shock shafts to see how much shock bump travel you are using.

I decided to go with the cheapest option and had my springs re-arched.. It appears I will be keeping my fillings and my van. : )

Pretty excited how much improvement it made, they adde three inches which better than doubled my travel. New shocks are next!

Not excited about the height, but I can handle the climb in much better than bouncing around with the whole van shaking and rattling all the time

Thanks again for all suggestions and info... I always feel better about spending money when I am completely exhausted from research and talking about it!

re-arch was 150 for both and the labor was 180

We're sitting pretty level now maybe half inch lower in the front 22 inches from ground to bottom of rocker panel.
