Softopper Camper Top, 95 - 04 Tacoma

SOFTOPPER collapsible camper shell for Toyota Tacoma

This Softopper is BRAND new (almost). It came off my 2003 extended cab Tacoma, where it was installed less than one month ago. It is in PERFECT condition. Black in color. Comes with ALL hardware and I'll even help you install it if you come to me. Very simple to install and even easier to use. This is the perfect shell for those of you that dont want the hinderance and the weight of a fiberglass shell. The quality is outstanding. I was so impressed with this particular top that I sold my A.R.E shell for it. Reason for selling: I recently broke down and bought a 2010 Taco :)

I know for sure that it fits all Tacoma's, up to 2004, with a 72" bed. It may have other applications but you may want to consult the website.

Anyways, the top is located in Denver, CO but can be delivered anywhere South or West of the city, being that I commute to Durango. These tops retail for $589.00

The link you provided appears to be for a softtopper that would go on an 05+ 6' bed - do you know if this what you have or do you know the model number?

Thanks, Dan

If you go to www.softopper.com and use their search function, that is the picture that comes up. For some reason, they do not have any pics of 01-04 Taco's. Oh well, this top is very versatile and will fit many applications. I just got off the phone with the guys at Softopper, here is what they said it will fit:

-ANY Toyota truck back through the 80's
-ANY Tacoma with a long bed, including 01-04 Xtra Cabs
-New Nissan Frontiers with a long bed
-Ford Rangers and Chevy S10's (These two, the top will be slightly higher than the cab)

The link provided is for the right top if you use there web site. I think the only difference between the 04 & 05+ softtopper is the mounting hardware due to the bedrail system on the newer trucks.

This is a smok'n deal! Tacomedic is a stand up guy. We met up in Kayenta a few weeks ago when I bought his ARE shell. He gave me a hand installing it and dispensed valuable Taco advice to me as a new owner.

Thanks Jeff! Look forward to our future transactions... and maybe an install day :D

Any chance you want to sell your ARB front bump if you're going to be selling the taco? I got in a bit of a fender bender a while back and am in the market for a new bumper at some point here.

Wish I could. I got in a little hurry and traded the Taco in. I was able to pull the top, winch, sliders and a few other goodies off it before it went. Sorry.

No worries - glad you're happy with the upgrade! You shouldn't have any problem finding a home for the sliders or anything else =)
