How about a thread to discuss and show your "finds" in Solar Powered Lighting....... (for your campsite)


I'm especially interested in the combination of Solar Powered AND the use of LED's!

I ran across this today and needed a place to share it..........


I thought this was a great Idea!

Let's also look for outdoor solar campsite lighting....so you can see what that noise is outside....in light on the recent Utah Bear attack!

Man that's some cool stuff! I checked out their site and ended up ordering 2 of the "Lid Lights" They should work well on the M416 I also have a solar powered exhaust vent to keep things cool in there.

If you had a motion sensor light in your campsite?

If a bear tripped the light on....would this help scare him away.

When the light comes on you could just peak out really quick to see what's up. I'm looking for solutions....including solar powered solutions.

In August, they expect to have a variation of the LidLight ready for market. It will have a manual switch or a motion detector switch rather then an automatic tilt switch. I'm planning on picking up one or two of the new style for my fiberglass truck cap.
