Hello! Longtime lurker. My 4x4 surf van is for sale. $11,000. Located in Maui, Hawaii.
It has removable (bolt in) middle seats and a power rear seat that folds down into a bed. I fold down the rear seat into a bed and put boards on it. Fits multiple 9ft sup boards no problem. It's a conversion van with some cabinets, bed, and interior lights but has nothing for full-time living like a fridge, sink, or shower.
5.8L V8, runs great. Gas (not diesel) with two switchable tanks, one 15gal and one 9 gal. 95000 original miles. Has cruise control and ABS. 4x4 hubs are automatic.
Not currently on, but I have a spare tire on a rack that goes on the back door.
Most importantly includes point break sticker and HitchSafe for storing keys while in the water.
I shipped this from California 2 years ago, minimal to no rust.
Safety and registration just done.
Will get pics of inside soon.
Known issues:
• Ac doesn't work. All the parts are there and previous owner got the refrigerant updated and added a new compressor (have receipts). Haven't had time to figure out what is going on.
• Small transmission fluid leak from driveshaft seal. Haven't got a chance to change the seal but it is an easy fix.
• ABS light is on, a common thing with these vans. I replaced the sensor but the light is still on. Stops extremely well regardless so haven't bothered to diagnose more.
• Cabinets above front seats have been removed by previous owner.
• Previous owner ripped out the carpet so there is no flooring. I will put in flooring, but the price will go up.
