I am not in the least bit mechanical, so I didn’t know the answer to your question. I checked the 4x4 conversion receipt that I have, and it lists “Dana 50 TB Front Axel Assembly Core,” so I believe the answer to your question is yes.

It drives fine on the highway. MPG depends on speed and other conditions. Obviously, if it is working hard, fuel efficiency will drop. The previous owner said he drove it between 55-65 mph; I usually drive 65-70 mph. My mpg ranges between 11-13. On my last longer trip, it averaged between 13-14.
