Selling my 1997 Discovery equipped with a 300TDi/R380 combo.
I bought it in January of this year and it has been my daily driver ever since. I am selling this to buy my first Defender.
It has 153.5k miles, with 80k on the swap, has working A/C and heat, NO rust anywhere on the car.
Gets 25mpg and cruises at 77mph with no problems.
I have never taken it off road.
Recent maintenance:
Timing belt replaced at 148k miles
Coolant flush at 153k miles
New injectors, valves and timing belt adjusted at 153k miles
Starting in April I have installed;
OME Heavy Duty 2'' lift
TF Spring Retainers; front and rear
TF Shock mounts
ARB Bumper
WARN VR10,000 winch
Safari Snorkel
I also have a full set of orange poly bushings and a TF HD Steering rod set, to be included in the sale.
The good:
Maintained very well
No rust
Diesel
Working A/C
The bad:
It leaks....it is a Rover
The center console could be replaced, has drill holes and the passenger seat control has fallen out of place(still works) [see pictures]
Lives in Oklahoma during the school year and is currently on Long Island.
